New-found interest in performance art. Fascinating, intriguing, controversial, crazy.
I feel it’s an excellent supplement to the on-paper work of fine art, makes the audience think quite possibly twice as much. As well as make one form a firm opinion on what art actually is; thoughts, criticism, and ideas fluctuate in literally everyone. There is no concrete definition on art. None. It is simply impossible. The dictionary says shit like “human visual expression” and “skill/creativity/imagination” etc etc etc. But show someone Marina Abramovic slamming into some wall nude and they’ll be totally lost; even though yes that is indeed visual expression{to her}, many like to argue. The dictionaries would be more correct if they called art merely an abstract idea which the human race will never agree firmly on. Hell… forget words. Art needs no words to explain itself. If anything it’s reflected off reaction emotion, how it strikes the viewer. But then again that’s still not a definition of art. This is my idea, not the idea. “What is art?” is a bullshit question, unless you’re asking only yourself. I personally think performance art is the absolutely perfect place to begin seeking individual notion.
This paragraph probably contradicts every other sentence… I’m too tired to reread whatevertehfuck my brain just upchucked. I could write a whole book on this stuff, ahahah.
Is this anti-art? Anti-anti-art? I don’t know, and to be honest i could give lesser fuck. I am an over-thinker, who enjoys over-thinking…And that’s another text post my friends.
Holy shit…… I’d love to find the credits for this. Where I found it wasn’t able to find anything either, but it’s a remarkable work of art.
I always draw better when it’s for other people rather than myself. I’m honestly glad, because I guess that means I care more when I use my *talents*{stars because I generally suck} for people who deserve it so more heart gets put into it.
UUgggghh I guess artsyposes doesn’t exist anymore and deviant art is a piece of shit and I want to draw models and I’m too lazy to look through every google search.
