Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was actually quite awesome, to me. Very good twist at historical fiction.

The VFX were a little silly once in a while, but it was over all quite good. I don’t think 3D is necessary though.

People who thought it was shit probably don’t have an equal interest in history [particularly US history] as to horror/vampires.

But I recommend it.

30 Day History Challenge Day 2: Your favorite history related blog(s) on Tumblr. Why?

Here’s a few:

fckyeaharthistory

fyeah-history

fuckyeahhistoricalhotties

perezhamilton

All of them are super great, I totally recommend following if your into history at all.

Fckyeaharthistory showcases gorgeous pieces from a range of years and medias. It also has a page branching out to other really awesome blogs.

Fyeah-history is really a blog of general history, a majority of posts pertaining to the 18th-20th century. Lots of war history, very awesome and interesting visuals.

Fuckyeahhistoricalhotties…. is pretty much self exclamatory ;)

Perezhamilton is history presented as ‘juicy gossip’. Very humorous perez hilton spoof.

30 Day History Challenge Day 1: Why do you love history?

I don’t know, I just really love anything to do with the past. Though there’s been plenty of downs, there’s certainly lots of ups in the historical roller-coaster. History made us who we are today. The events, inventions, and people of the past eventually generated us, and it certainly deserves honoring.

History is fantastic, and a wonderful study all-in-all.
