This is my first ever tattoo! I have always found trees to be the most beautiful thing on the planet and have appreciated their symbol of life for a very long time. I got this done at Topnotch tattoos in elgin Illinois by Steve. I love it to death and am very happy how it turned out!
Old Yet Useful Tree
The titles comes from the fact that though the tree is old and lacks leaves and abundance of color, it’s the perfect place for an owl to sit on.

Ugh, finally finished the owl. And the whole picture.
As for the rest of the tree, not much has changed since the last upload. Some more shading here and there, that’s all. Overall, all I have to do now is go over it with an eraser, (wouldn’t want pencil marks in the final product), sign it, and scan it somehow. My pay/reward= a fantastic cupcake. Fuck yeah.
When I get it scanned, I will put it up on here, and my DeviantART with a full description etc. But overall I had so much fun with this, and it feels great to finally have finished a complete piece, which I haven’t done in forever. Nothing ever this official.
ALMOST DONE jdijoawijorjiuhjiuafdhr Oh yeah I have 2 gigantic pieces to finish by Tuesday as well. And then I have to start my Surrealism piece, due the 15th.
But in the end, the person who runs the book will reward me with a cupcake.
